Had Food Poisoning. Had Difficulty Breathing, Pounding In My Ears, And Fatigue. Taking Iron And B12 Shots. Suggestions?

I am 67 years old and had a bad case of food poisoning and subsequently had difficulty breathing, pounding in my ears, and fatigue. after about 10 days I had a blood test and they found I was anemic with a Hemoglobin level of 7.2. Subsequently, I have been taking iron and got a b12 shot. I have gotten stronger each day with more energy. Could this anemia have been caused by the food poisoning?
