Had fall injured leg, given cortisone injection before, during MRI, appeared normal, still painful

I sqauted down and rocked back to sit my right foot did not move and butt touched my ankle and there was a loud pop. I was given a cortisone injection a week before my MRI. Can this reduce Swell so the MRI appaers normal. I was given another cortisone injection when I got the MRI results back as normal and sent a way not to be seen again. Pain has been debilitating at times.

The pain that is persistent in your leg seems to be due to a soft tissue injury. Such injuries are usually self healing in nature and the symptoms subside in 7-10 days.
