Had Excessive Flatulence, Belching ,developed Pulsations In Head And Unable To Sleep. Took Panadol. Treatment?
I have had excessive flatulence and belching over the last 4 months. When I go to bed at night I have developed pulsations in my head, which disrupt my sleep. I am often up 3 or 4 times a night. When I get up I go to the toilet and get some relief when I pass wind (at both ends). During the day I have a feeling of pressure around the back sides of my head. It does not result in headaches, though it presents as the onset of a headache. I take 2 panadol and this serves to reduce the problem, though not eradicate it. I have had a FBE and 2 ECG s but my doctor is still unable to diagnose anything. He has described me as a real conundrum! Last week I went & had the breath test for heliobacter pylori, but the results are not back yet. Any ideas?

You need proper clinical examination and investigations.
You need investigations like routine hemogram,RBS,LFT,urine RE/ME ,ultrasound of abdomen and upper GI endoscopy.
Stop taking alcohol and quit smoking if you are smoker.
Take fibrous diet and plenty of water.
Take diets at regular interval.
You can take tablet pantoprazole before breakfast 40 mg once daily for one month.
Further treatment should be done after clinical examination and investigation reports..Get well soon.
