Had Chlamydia, Gonorrhea Previously. Having Yellowish Discharge. What Could This Be?
I have a yellowish discharge on my panty liner. I was tested for chlamydia and gonorrhea about a month ago and it came back negative. I have tested positive for both in the past and so has my boyfriend (he was treated for both at the same time in the beginning of december 2012). I have no other symptoms of an std other than the yellow discharge (slightly smelly, but I think that s from all the walking around campus I do). Do you have any idea what this could be?
At the outset, if both your boyfriend & you have had these STD's in the past & been treated, i would imagine wiser counsel will have prevailed by now. Please do practice safe sex.
As to what this yellowish discharge could be, it could be any of the STD linked discharges or a simple fungal infection with a secondary bacterial infection. Is there an odour to it? Perchance a 'fishy' odour?
By best advice would be to consult a venereologist, treat both your partner & yourself; treat the fomits/underwear et al & practice safe sex from now on.
Good Luck & Godspeed..wish you a safe sexlife!

Had Chlamydia, Gonorrhea Previously. Having Yellowish Discharge. What Could This Be?
Hi there. I note your history with interest & trepidation. At the outset, if both your boyfriend & you have had these STD s in the past & been treated, i would imagine wiser counsel will have prevailed by now. Please do practice safe sex. As to what this yellowish discharge could be, it could be any of the STD linked discharges or a simple fungal infection with a secondary bacterial infection. Is there an odour to it? Perchance a fishy odour? If so, trichomoniasis cannot be ruled out. By best advice would be to consult a venereologist, treat both your partner & yourself; treat the fomits/underwear et al & practice safe sex from now on.
