Had A Pain In Forearm, Radiated To Neck. Burning Sensation In Shoulder. Suggested To Have Sprain Subscapularis. Recommendations

I had to use my right arm only
for a couple of weeks, (as my left arm was in a brace and it made it difficult to use it..). I had a pain that occurred in the underneath side of my right forearm that radiated to my neck and caused pain in my neck; next I had a burning sensation under my right shoulder blade. I first noticed it when i had my arm raised shoulder height and above, after scanning. i know scanning did not cause it, but what could have? The doc who evaluated me said I had a strain/sprain subscapularis. I read I for on the diagnosis he gave me but I do not have pain the front of my scapula, nor have I. The neck pain has subsided, however, the burning sensation is still there and has been for over a week now.

Orthopaedic Surgeon 's  Response
Hello.
Thanks for writing to us.
The pain that you have could be related to a sprain in the muscle. This usually subsides on rest, hot fomentation and mild pain killers along with oral muscle relaxants. You can also apply a local analgesic gel.
I hope this information has been both informative and helpful for you.
