Had ACL Reconstruction Surgery. Difficulty In Extending The Knee. Recovery?

I have had ACL reconstruction surgery on march 1, 2013 and i ahve been having a lot of trouble in physical therapy getting full extension and flextion of my knee. My physical therapist and orthopedic doctor said that it is because i have a build up of scar tissue. Now i am planning on having a manipulation done and a scope. I have no idea about what they do during the manipulation and afterwards the recovery. Im only 16 so i am worried.

Hello. You should know that the recovery will gradually.
The minimum time for recovery after ACL reconstruction surgery is 6 months.
Also not all patients with this pathology are equal. Each patient is different and each case has its own characteristics.Follow the directions of your physical therapist and orthopedic doctor and trust in them.I wish you good health.
