Growth Near Tear Duct, No Pain. Serious?

I have a growth that looks like a skin tag near the tear duct. It is not on the lid but on the skin just at the corner of my eye. It looks like a big pink sleeper in my eye. Someone told me it was a blocked oil gland but it has been there for several months and does not hurt and is not inflamed or sore. Sometimes it leaks a little bit of crusty material. I d like to know if it is something serious.

Thanks for the query,

You are correct in saying that it is a blocked gland.

This area is rich in sebaceous glands.

These glands can get blocked and occasionaly white material comes out from this.

Dont worry it is not serious,

This blockadge can be easily removed by using comedone extracter.

Apply an antibacterial cream like mupirocine,

This will prevent infection.
