green stools in babies are of not much significance so dont be upset due to it.what makes you think that your baby is anaemic.what is his Hb% and have you evaluated for it.Iron deficiency is one of the most common cause for this age group anaemia.Have you done your baby's iron status.your baby needs both milk and solid food.do give milk to him in night, late night, early morning and then in rest of time u can offer him home made solid food.offer in small amounts but at the gap of 2 hrs.add 1-2 drops of butter in it to make it tasty and it will also help to increase weight of your baby.choice of milk is yours.but if you feel his skin is loose then you need to take care of his health.what is your baby's weight now.please do monitor weight regularly to ensure your child is gaining weight.
Welcome to HCM Greetings of the day It is quite normal for an infant to pass green coloured stools. Milk can be safely continued unless the baby has lactose(milk sugar) intolerance. Remember home made weaning food is much better than commercial preparation. Its just benefiting the multinational companies. Try smashed banana, daal kichdi, kanji, white of boiled egg, wheat porridge. Take care Regards
