Got Hit In The Knee. Now Hurts Badly From Hip To Knee. Feels Stiff After Running. Is This The Cause For Concern?

Hi I hit my right knee really hard about 3 was ago with my husband's knee who weights almost 300 lbs and me 160lbs. The first few days afterwards, my knee hurt so bad. Now is still feels unconfortable with mild pain now from my hip to my knee. It feels stiff especially after running yesterday. Don't know if I shouldn't run and made it worse. and I don't know if I need to visit the dr. I think I do. What can you rec? Will it heal on its own?

I suggest first of all you take complete rest till the pain subsides or your condition may worsen. Thus avoid running.
YOU SHOULD CONSULT YOUR DOCTOR ,HE WILL GIVE YOU SOME MEDICATIONS WHICH WILL DECREASE YOUR PAIN AND THUS WILL HASTEN THE HEALING PROCESS.
