About two weeks ago I started the symptoms of a UTI (burning when urinate, the frequent urination, lower abdominal pain/cramps) so I decided to take OTC Azo to relieve some of the pain prior to hearing back from my doctors office to schedule an appointment. Last Tuesday was my doctors appointment and like I anticipated I had a mild UTI, my doctor prescribed me Macrobid 100mg, am a lot better now, I also spoke to her about other symptoms I had been having, pregnancy symptoms. She order a PT that came back POSITIVE :). However, I still wanted t keep doing the HPT just to make sure, yesterday was my last day on Macrobid. This morning I took a HPT and was Negative... Could it be that either medication interfere with the results of the HPT? Am I or not pregnant? What should I do?
