Good Evening,
I am 18 years old, and I have been having groin and hip pains on my left side for about three weeks. My groin has been catching and audibly popping, and well as making these weird noises. At first it would only pop every two days, but these last four days has been popping multiple times a day, with extreme pain. I went to the doctors today and the just told me I had a pinched nerve and it wasn't anything to do with the bone, yet I went online and looked up the signs and symptoms and they do not match a single thing I told my doctor, and contradicted many things I said. Also, if it has nothing to do with my bone, why can I hear and feel my bone moving and clicking? No tests were done besides me walking across the floor. No XRay'x MRI's, nothing. Doesn't make sense and does not fit the descriptions of a pinched nerve. She set me up with a Physical Therapist for my "pinched nerve" will they look at me and make sure that that diagnosis is correct? Or reevaluate me? I have a family history of knee and hip problems, and many have began in young adulthood.
