I have recently remarried and my current wife finds anal intercourse very painful. In fact, her anus is very tight even though we use copious lubricant and go very slowly. She wants to please me and says she has enjoyed anal sex with a previous partner with a smaller penis. Do you have any suggestions for "conditioning" her body to permit greater penetration?

hi dear,
anal sex is not as smooth as vaginal sex. so during anal sex first of all both partner's will is important. if any one is involved with force it is very painful specially female. because if not willingly then anal sphincter not relaxed and so it is painful to penetrate. and also there is no natural lubrication secreted in anus as vagina so it is necessary to use lubrication during sex. and also it is necessary to make comfort to female partner so anal sphincter relaxed properly.
even though you have pain then consult gynecologist and psychiatrist for counselling.
