Found Dead With Blood In Both Corners Of The Mouth. Possible Cause Of Death?

My father in law (who lived in Brazil) was found dead on friday lying in his bed. He was 70 years old, full of energy, and otherwise healthy (non-smoker). He did mention he had "trouble with his circulation" and did not see a doctor regularly. He was found with blood on both corners of his mouth. Due to money an autopsy was never performed, (things can be backwards in Brazil). What could be his possible cause of death (heart attack, pulmonary embolism, enueurysm?). Our family would like to know.

First of all, the three diseases heart attack, pulmonary embolism, anueurysm does not present with blood in mouth !!!

there can be many conditions in which patient is dead and blood is found in mouth !!!
1. he might be suffering form some stomach problem and have vomited blood and then he died due to aspiration of blood
2. he might have coughed blood and then died of aspiration.
3. the patient might have been suffering from blood clotting disorders and there might have been nose bleed, which cause his death.

there can be many more conditions....
