Fluid Filled Swelling Behind The Ear That Has Not Reduced Size With Antibiotics
My son has developed a what looks like fluid filled swelling behind his ear. He has been on antibiotics for 10 days but the fluid filled "sack" has not reduced in size. We were asked to apply heat . No fluid has been released. Skin covering the sack is turning purple once pressure applied.

I have gone through your query regarding fluid filled lump behind the ear not responding to antibiotic.
Considering your clinical history it appears most likely it is-
1- Cyst.
2- Suppurated lymph node.
3- Post aural abscess.
This may be clinically confirm by doing FNAC from lump. The FNAC report will decide the line of treatment.
