Fluid And Pain In Left Ear, Numbness In Outer Part Of Ear. Diagnosed As Perforated Ear Drum. Suggestions?
I have fluid and pain in my left ear and the outer part of the ear feels numb. I also have tinnitus and fluid in the ear and hearing loss. I was prescribed pain medication and antibiotics and went to a doctor for a second opinion. The doctor flushed my ear but no earwax came out. The next day the pain increased and moved down to my jaw and I went to the ER. The doctor said I had a perforated ear drum and said I should go see an ENT. The ENT appointment is two weeks from now but the pain is moving over to my right ear, where fluid is now coming out of and down into my jaw.
there might be sinus infection putting pressure on eustachian tubes causing pain and additional ewak due to wax cleaning the fluid put pressure on drum causing perforation and ear fluid discharge which came from sinuses as pnd get metroniodazole 200 mg bd for 7 days as they clear sinuses fast take antiallergic tab in bd dose to bring down mucus production apply neomycin h ointment in nose bd and sea water 2 drops in each nose night to clear back of throat and eustachian tubes apply clindamycin gel in ears bd put neomycin h ear drops in ear to nmake the draining ear wet take analgesic sos till you meet your doctor
