Fluctuating Blood Pressure Levels. On Losartan. EKG Normal. Pinched Nerve?

Hi I am thirty two and I used to have low blood pressure and then all the sudden I high blood pressure! I am on losartan 25mg a day and it has been controlled for two weeks. I had all the heart blood work done in the er and EKG done as well and came back normal! I still feel like a sensation in my left arm like I have a pinched nerve or something, should I go see a cardiologist? I had a echo and carotid sonogram last yr and had No plaque present ! Dear kandice

Thanks for your health concerns. The pain that you report does not sound completely typical for heart disease ( that is obstructive coronary artery disease) but would be wise to have it formally evaluated to make sure that it is benign in nature, such as a muscle sprain or strain. Your provider can do a physical examination and if there are further concerns additional testing might be indicated, such as a stress test
