Floating Orange Oil In Stools. No Upset Stomach, On Healty Diet For Weight Loss. Concerning?
Hi. I just went to the bathroom and checked my stool and saw orange oil floating in the water. It is a sign of losing fat, because my body has not absorbed it. I have also read online that its a disease related issue but I don't have an upset tummy or anything. I am wanting to lose weight and have started to watch what I eat. I was wondering if I should I worry and go to the doctor or leave it because its common and will go back to normal?
From the information you have provided, the absence of symptoms but for this observation shouldn't raise too much concern now. I would want to suggest that you observe this over sometime and only seek medical attention if it becomes repetitive and/or any symptoms develop. There is no need to get worried at this point as I cannot find any red flags that should make us panic.
It is true that diseases can manifest like this especially some of the liver and pancreas. However, i find no other inforation to support either and more so because it is a one time observation.
Hope this addresses you query fully and you find it helpful. Feel free to ask us more questions and we shall gladly respond to them. I wish you well!!! Thanks.. Dr. Ditah, MD
