Ampiclox is very safe to take during pregnancy.However, I always discourage my patients from taking antibiotics without a clear medical diagnosis and not being prescribed by a doctor. This can mask a concerning problem, lead to incorrect treatment and onset of complications, bacteria resistance to antibiotics, etc. Soo please, before you consider using antibiotics next tie, talk to your doctor. Because the fever started before you started ampiclox, it is less likely that ampiclox is the cause of this fever. please,, always meet and talk with your doctor when sick so that the diagnosis can be made and correct treatment offered. However, low grade fever could be a possible symptom of early pregnancy. But, it rarely goes beyond 38degree celcius. The best way to tell whether you are pregnant is to take a urine pregnancy test. Patiently wait up to the next expected menses. If your menses should not show up, then do a test to find out what is happening. if they do show up, then you are for sure not pregnant.
