Fever, Sweating, Chills, Body Ache, Dizziness, Sore Throat, Hurts While Swallowing, Swollen Lymph Nodes. Strep Test Negative. Advise?

Hello, I've had a fever for the past three days -- up to 101.2 degrees but no higher than that. I am sweating one minute and then have chills the next or while I'm sweating it feels like chills run up my legs. My whole body is so achey. I get dizzy everytime I get up from lying down and all I want to do is sleep. I've been a bit delirious though, I also have a very sore throat which hurts when I swallow..there's some white puss marks and it's pretty red. My lymph nodes on my neck are HUGE and swollen. I got my throat cultured for strep and it came back negative though the doctor was fairly sure it was strep.

I also got a spider or some kind of huge bite about a week ago. I'm guessing they aren't connected but I'm not the doctor...I also pulled a couple of ticks off of me yesterday that I believe were only on me for maybe 10 minutes.

What should I do? Take the antibiotics?

Hello,
you should take a course of antibiotic and antihistaminic , antipyretics like paracetamol.
Drink lots of water
Consult a doctor near you so that proper antibiotic is given.
Lymph nodes must settle down in a week of antibiotic course , if not then Fine needle aspiration cytology ie tissue examintaion will be required.
