Fever, Headache, Sore Throat, Runny Nose, Sore Back. What Could Be This?

HI, I am a 15 year old female and two days ago I developed a fever of 101, but without a headache, sore throat, runny nose, etc. In fact I didn't know I had a fever until my friend made contact with my skin. The symptoms went away for a couple hours (I didn't take medication), but came back again. My lower back is sore and I'm feeling pretty tired. In fact I've felt out of breath and constantly tired for the past month now. What might this be?

Hi and thanks for the query.
Looks like you have come down with viral fever.
Viral fevers are very common and usually last for 5-7 days.
You will require an antipyretic. Investigations will be required only if symptoms persist for longer than a week.
Consult your doctor.
Meanwhile you can follow some general measures
1) Drink plenty of fluids.
2) Adequate diet.
3) Monitor your temperature.
4) Get some rest.
Take care,
Dr Rajkishori Godhi.
