Fever, Cough, Given Meftal P. Any Side Effect From This Medicine?

Hello dr
My daughter is has started getting fever now at 1.30 am and she had cough since morning.
I did cold sponge ..
As I was available with meftal p and she had fever I gave her meftal p 2.5 ml her age is 2 yrs 10 months...
Her fever is getting down ..but I am worried about side effects ... tomorrow morning I will take her to doctor ... but is it fine to give meftal p as an emergency ... as it was late at night and I was unavailable with crocin syrup

Hi Dear
Welcome to the Health Care Magic
Paracetamol is considered to be safest. Specially in the season of Dengue epedmic better go for only paracetamol.
But Meftal P is also quite safe medicine. Need not to worry much. You can consult pead next morning and can continue with the same.
