Fever, Chills, Sore Throat, Dry Mouth And Eyelids. What Could This Be?

I am just getting over a fever and chills with extreme soar throat, but now my eye-lids and mouth feel and look extremely dry and I have bum(white head like) on my arms around the outer elbow region. I scheduled an appointment with doctor monday but is there something I can do now, and what could this be? I live in NYC.

Welcome to HCM.
Your symptoms is suggestive of upper respiratory infection.
Take simple acetaminophen for pain and fever.
Start warm water gargle.
Avoid oily,chilled water,cold drink and other food.
You have to start proper antibiotic like amoxy/clavulinic under guidance of your doctor.
