Feeling Of Raw, Salty, Acidic Taste In Mouth, Inside Lips. What Is The Problem?

Hello. My mouth has been feeling kind of raw on the inside for a few days.. I kind of feels like I ate something really salty or acidic and it s mostly located inside my lips just in front of my teeth . I have not been eating anything out of the ordinary or using any different oral hygeine products. What could be the problem?

Dentist 's  Response
Hello,
Acidic taste in mouth can be due to exposure of root of teeth due to gingival recession.
I would advice you to get scaling done.
Exposed root portion has to be restored with tooth coloured filling material.
Use soft bristled toothbrush to clean your teeth.
Avoid vigorous brushing methods.
Maintain oral hygiene well.
Please do visit a dentist for further treatment procedures.
Hope this helps.
