Hi there ,
Thanks for asking your query,

Don't panic.what was the color of the blood (bright or pale red).Blood can be found in saliva because of periodontal infection surrounding your teeth and gums.sometimes due to drug induced gingival enlargement and excessive subgingival calculus there can be bleeding from gums.if your cleared of dental related problems then visit your physician.

Due to irritation in your throat ,blood can be seen.many a times due to gastrointestinal bleeding or respiratory infection ,traces of blood can be seen.if the problem persists please visit a physician.

hope this helps you,
regards,
dr.naveen
