Feeling Lightheaded After Squatting. Cold Sweat, low Pulse Rate. Anxiety Or Low BP?

When I squat, then stand up, I feel light headed. Walking around and then sitting to eat a few minutes later I feel a strange sensation and tap my fingers almost a sense of anxiety, but getting a cold sweat, and if feeling like passing out was going to happen, this being the moment...pulse slow at 60 bpm... Not sure if dehydrated or anxious or low bp or something else .... Suggestion to just see a doctor and get a physical ? Also .... Deep breaths slow through the nose mouth give the same feeling.

Psychiatrist 's  Response
When person is sitting for long duration in squatting position & than suddenly stands up, it can lead to symptoms like light headedness, dizziness, giddiness, a sensation of fall, going out of crazy, sweating, pounding heart beat, sighing respiration, tunnelling of vision, blurring of vision or even black outs, actual fall, few seizure like involuntary movement etc. This is particularly common in person with tall & thin built. All these are due to peripheral pooling of blood leading to transient low blood supply to brain. This is called "Syncopal Attack ". It is a normal universal physiological phenomenon.
One needs not to be much afraid of such physiological mechanism of body. Only what is needed is slow & steady rising while sitting in squatting position for long duration. You can hold something while rising until you are stable otherwise you can fall & injured yourself
