Feeling Lethargic, Mild Lightheadedness. Could It Be Flu ?

Hello Dr. Grief; my name is AAAAA. I am 48 yo male who has been feeling lethargic (moderate) with some mild lightheadedness when standing-up for approx. four (4) days. No fever , sore throat etc... feels like the flu but with only the listed two (2) symptoms. Was able to jog the 1st day of symtoms but only 1/2 as much (and I was even tired walking). Never had this before. I will make an appt. c/ MD if continues post 3 more days. Could it just be some virus?

These symptoms can also be seen due to cardiovascular dysfunction.Cardiac diseases present in atypical fashion with symptoms such as dizziness, lightheadedness and gastrointestinal symptoms.I suggest to get an ECG which is a baseline investigation and take an opinion.Ideally a Tread mill test would help detect any changes and is more helpful than ECG.Discuss with your MD since you are suffering from quite sometime.Hope this helps.Take care
