Neurologist 's  Response
Hi,

Thank you for posting your query.

The symptoms are neuralgic in nature. If they are troublesome, using carbamazepine may be helpful.

A vitamin B12 deficiency should also be excluded.

Best wishes,
Dr Sudhir Kumar MD DM (Neurology)
Senior Consultant Neurologist
