Feel Throat Blocked. Cannot Take Even Water. No Pain. Food Pipe Shrinks. Food Remain In Top. Treatment?

sir, while eating specifically in begining of taking food, several times I find my throat completely blocked. even that time I can not take water. In few seconds it gets released.
No pain at all , no other problem in throat.
It appears that the food pipe shrinks and the food remains in top and does flow further downwards.
I am so afraid that I take food very slowly but still it happens many time.
Pl. suggest test and treatment.

ENT Specialist 's  Response
Hi,
Sir M L Bhandariji,
By reading your information provided, it most probably suggests that you are suffering from globus hystericus.
I personally suggest proton pump inhibitor for the same but for exclusion of the other disease you need to consult the ENT specialist for better diagnosis and management.
Avoid spicy and hot food and also avoid smoking and drinking.

Wish you good health
