Feb 2nd I was sitting at my desk, things were calm, and I couldn't take a deep breath. It went from deep breath to struggling to get any kind of decent breath. It's been like that since then. There's varying degrees of problems breathing. It can be hard to take a deep breath to hard to get any kind of decent breath. But it's like that 24 hours per day. There's no real feeling fine and then suddenly a breathing issue pops up. I've been in the ER 3 times since 2/2. I've had 2 chest xrays, both came back clear. 2 of the 3 ER doctors thinks it's a panic attack, but again, there's no feeling fine and then not, it's a constant breathing issue with varying degrees. Bloodwork has come back fine. Stress test, normal. Pulmonary function test, normal. I met with a Pulmonologist on 2/29 and he said it's not my lungs. He had me stop taking my vitamins and supplements (been taking for years) and if I didn't feel better in 2 weeks, I was to contact him again. He will then send me to a heart specialist. I'm not better. There are no other symptoms other than the difficulty breathing. No chest pain, although a small degree of tightness. No back, arm or jaw pain. No unexplained weight loss. I get regular adjustments from my Chiro.....have for about a year and a half now. I'm at a loss. I'm 50 yrs old, no history of breathing or heart issues. No history of panic attacks. I work out (cardio and weight training) 5-6 days per week and have for more than 15 years.
