Fall On The Elbow Causing Painful And Bruised Bump, Elbow Feels Weak, Bump Hard To Touch. Diagnosis?

I fell on my elbow while running, and now above it (folding my elbow up by my head, showing the tip of my elbow) there s a pretty big and painful bruised lump. There s road rash around it but nothing too bad. The bump is hard and hurts to touch - not too much though, but my elbow also feels weak/limp. It s been here for about 5 hours. Help/suggestions/diagnostics?

Hello,

Thanks for posting your query

You had injury over tip of your elbow and after that painful swelling appears.

you might having soft tissue tissue injury or a fracture.
so you need an x-ray to rule out any fracture.
you have to visit an orthopaedic surgeon for clinical examination of elbow and treatment plan according to them.

Hope I have answered your query.Let me know if you have any more concerns.

Regards.
