Experiencing Headache After An Injury

Hi! I fell three nights ago and hit the back of my head on concrete. I had a slight headache that night but have had no further symptoms. Now I'm being told that I should go to the ER for testing because I may have internal bleeding. Is this true? What should I do??

Hello.....since it has been 3 days since yoy hir your head an you are otherwise in good shape i dont think an er visit is necessary right away.
Symptoms of traumatic injury to the brain could include besides headache, dizziness, loss of balance, drowsiness, black outs or sometimes even seizures.
So unless you are experiencing any other symptoms or having a worsening in the headache intensity in my opinion you should be fine.
Hope i have helped.
