Experiencing Freezing Cold After The Intake Of Meth

when I shoot up meth I get a freezing cold feeling I don't get the rush like normally I see people get. I do get the taste but then it honestly makes me mellow and zone out for a bit. I have been doing meth for many years I have done it almost every way you can, and I know each way is a different reactions through my body. I just recently started using a needle and the feeling that I mentioned at the beginning is what I get after a hit not any other consumption way. I did a hit and the spot got swollen and very itchy and then broke out with a rash on the arm that was hit with that's never happened any information?? also with the same needle my husband used after me got a huge knot in vein that is very inflamed any suggestions?

Hello,
your body's reaction to meth can and does change, due to many factors. The freezing cold you are experiencing is due to the vasoconstriction effect of the meth, that it, the narrowing of the blood vessels. Vasoconstriction leads to high blood pressure and can often be fatal. You are experiencing this effect when using a needle because this is the fastest and most direct way to get the drug into the blood.
The rash you get may be due to hightened sensitivity of your blood vessels to the drug.
Needle sharing is a sure way to get an infection which, in drug addicts can often be fatal.
Your body is sending you clear signals that it is reaching the end of tolerance, so please refrain from overburnening it with drugs and get help. There are many help lines out there that can get you on the road to recovery.
Wishing you the best
