Hi,I am Dr. Alexander H. Sheppe (Psychiatrist). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
i had sex for the first and had no issues. when i went to have sex the second time my boyfriend only had his penis in half way and had to pull it out because it hurt so bad. when he pulled it out i started bleeding and not just a little. why did i have problems the second time and not the first?
Hello and welcome to HCM, Bleeding after sexual activity could be due to a number of causes, some of them are listed below: 1. Rupture of hymen, rupture usually occurs on first sexual encounter. However, sometimes the hymen does not rupture on the first instance and it may rupture in subsequent sexual encounter. 2. Cervical lesions like cervical erosion, cervical ectropion, etc. However, cervical lesions are expected in females who have already had sexual encounters and not ones having first or second sexual encounter.
If the problem recurs, you can consult your gynecologist for clinical assessment.
Thanks and take care Dr Shailja P Wahal
