Elbows And Knee Crack Constantly, Soreness, No Weight Gain. How Can We Stop It?

Hi,
i am a 30 year old female. For the last 18 months my elbows and left knee crack constantly. Almost anytime i move my leg my knee cracks really loud. i find if i keep my leg still for any longer than 5 minutes it gets stiff and sore and i have to pop it to get relief. its the same with both my elbows. My general health is fine and i have always been at my recommended weight. Any suggestions what might be causing this or how to get it to stop?

Hi,
It seems that you are having pityriasis rubra pilaris.
In your case, it is adulthood PRP

The cause of pityriasis rubra pilaris is not known. It is not an infection and cannot be passed on to others.
It may be confused with psoriasis.
Skin biopsy may be done to cofirm the diagnosis.

Topical medications such as emollients may be used to relieve symptoms of dryness and cracking. In severe cases acitretin or isotretinoin may be useful. Methotrexate may be taken

Avoid soap bath .
Olive oil massage should be done after bath.
You contact dermatologist for perfect diagnosis and treatment.
I hope you might be satisfied with my answer.

Regards..
