Ecotrin To Prevent Stroke Or Heart Attack, Fibromyalgia, GERD, Tramadol

My doctor wants me to start taking a low dose of Ecotrin , 81mg. to prevent stroke or heart attack . Currently, I take a fish oil supplement , Co Q10 every other day, red yeast rice, magnesium malate, Vitamin D, and calcium daily. I also have fibromyalgia and GERD. I am considering Tramadol for the fibro pain. Are all of these safe to take in the same day? If I have to pay anything for a response, please disregard this question.

hi and welcome.
well i dont know what are your risk factors for stroke
new NICE guide lines 2010 states a risk score called CHA2DS2VASc
if your dont have heart failure , hypertension, diabetes, previous stroke , peripheral vascular disease , your age greater than 65years, and female sex.......... then the risk of stroke is less. taking aspirin low dose for stroke is mandatory if your score is 0 ( the doctor will see other aspects for stroke risk). score more than 0 is straight away indication for warfarin.
well low dose aspirin is also good to prevent thrombosis in your heart vessels that causes heart attacks, thus if you dont have allergy to aspirin and any other contraindications, like severe upper gastric bleed , you must take enteric coated aspirin ......to prevent stroe and heart attacks. also take a look at your cholesterol levels and have mild exercise daily, avoid smoking and alcohol and use vegetables. for GERD you must under go and upper GI endoscopy to rule our ulcer or bleed. regards
