As your mother is perfectly normal now and hence much significance cannot be attached to isolated elevation of esr. So rest be assured, esr sometimes remains elevated after bacyerial or viral infection.

greeting.

usualy ESR level are slightly higher than normal in the viral infection.meanwhile tab sumo.(nimuslide) it is not a antibiotic it is a used as antipyretics but it not used any more and it band in most of country..higher level of ESR IS NOT DUE TO sumo ..for viral infection if you have symtoms like cold sneezing medicine tab paracetamol500mg trice and tab cetrizine10mg twice.you will be fine in couple of days...thank.
