Dry Swollen Finger Tips With Red Lesions. No Help With Mosturizing Lotions. Suggestions?

I am 58 and male and I have dry swollen finger tips with red lesions on some of them. These symptoms have developed over the past few months. Otherwise I am very fit and healthy. I work out three times a week, eat healthy food and don t drink alcohol. My GP recommended moisturising cream, but this has little effect. Please advise.

Hello,

It may be any contact dermatitis because of its presence on the tip of the fingers.

Thing of may thing which may have caused this. If so provide it and observe whether the lesion subsides.

If there is no improvement then it better to consult a dermatologist.
