I am African American, and I have never had any issues with my skin. Recently, I've noticed dry, patch skin in my inner cheeks, close to my nose. After moisturizing with different types of moisturizers, It started to burn. Days later, the skin would peel off flaky. Now the area itches and then turns dark. recently the skin peeled and left my cheeks with a patchy, pinkish color. Applying certain moisturizers causes it to burn. I find that Nivea lotions helps soothes it the best. What could be happening to my skin?? -Very concerned
