HI I have gone through your mail and as you said that you re having dry crusty nose and throat is also dry and scratchy and a black spot posterior to tonsil and at this spot throat is very sore. After considering all your symptoms I am suspecting that you are having rhinopharyngitis. You are advice to go for these basic investigations like - (1) C.T.Scan paranasal sinuses, (2) culture and sensitivity of throat swab (3) XX-Ray chest in P.A.view (4) blood - C.B.C., E.S.R., blood sugar -fasting and P.P.,and you are also advice to contact your E.N.T.specialist for examination of nose and throat and co - relation of investigations to reach to appropriate diagnosis and treatment
