Done Bypass And Collaterals. Have Fatigue, Fainting, COPD. Difficulty Walking, Climbing Stairs. Treatment?

A year ago I had a quadruple bypass plus two collaterals.I then had an ejection rate of 35% out of my left ventrical. In April this year 2013 I began fainting and feeling extremely fatigued.I was also told I have COPD. I again had an emergency angiogram and had a stint and complete angiolplasy done. I also had an EP study, I now have less than 30% ejection. I findi ti difficult to walk or comb stairs, attempt to exercise. I am wearng a life vest. I am not getting better. I was again recently told after another ecocardiogram I may yet another collapsed artery near my heart. What type of cardio rehabiitation can I do? I want to strengthern my heart.

Hi friend,
Welcome to Health Care Magic

It is likely that there is block again – in the stent or native vessel.
You need thallium stress EKG (under supervision) befiore you attempt any cardio-rehab.
You will have to repeat the angio with a view for possible intervention again.
Discuss with your doctor...

Take care
Wishing speedy recovery
God bless
Good luck
