Does Weather Changes Cause Pain In Dislocated Ankle?

I broke and dislocated my right ankle in 2007. I have a plate and 9 screws. This past week it has been really painful. Most of the time I don t have any problems. I m wondering if all the weather changes could have something to do with the pain. If so, is there any solution? I am on my feet a lot as I am a teacher.

Hi
Thanks for writing your query
I have gone through your query and yes it’s common to have pain at the fracture site whenever the weather changes. The reason we do not know.
My advice would be do hot water fomentation, tab.ibuprofen, and multivitamin like vitamin B12, D and vitamin C along with calcium does help. If possible do simple ankle exercises.
Hope this helps.
Take care
