Does Using A Copper T Increase Duration Of Periods And Cause Weight Gain?
I have given birth to a baby with c section and using coper t for birth control. I had heavy mensural discharge till five months now my mensural discharge is getting normal slowly. But my mensural days are increased I bleed more days than before. My weight is also increasing. Is my weight incressing due to coper should remove it. What you suggest

I really appreciate your concern, if this is irregular menses and weight gain so the reason or reasons of these is not the contraceptive device (Copper T) but it could be due to hormone changes for weight gain no specific reason could be there, it is better to check the device, to rule out the infection that could be the cause but it is very rare because other associated symptoms of infection are not there, hope this information helps.
