Does Usage Of Ofloxacin Ear Drops Help In Treating Ear Infection?
I was prescribed drops for my ear (I popped my ear drum & it s infected). The pharmacy gave me Ofloxacin Ophthalmic Solution 0.3%. The sticker they put on the box says it s eye drops, but the sticker also says to instill drops into my ear. Are these eye drops also for ear infections?

Sometimes, the ofloxacin solutions are designed for both ophtalmic and otic (ear) use. But I should see the leaflet myself as not all the drops are the same.
If the sticker says to instill drops into the ear, go ahead and follow the instructions.
Otherwise, consult with ENT specialist to evaluate the damages.
