HI IAM 8 WEEKS PREGNENT AND MY T3 LEVEL IS 1.23 AND T4 LEVEL IS 8.18 AND TSH IS 5.25 .WHAT TYPE OF THROID IS THIS?IS THIS AFFECT MY PREGNENCY AND BABY?AND I HAVE A CYST IN RIGHTOVERY ABOUT 5.0*2.8CMS.WHAT IS THE CAUSE OF THYROID?IS IT BECAUSE OF FOOD?

The TSH level for first trimester of pregnancy is high. This can potentially effect the fetus' mental development. I would suggest you to start thyroid medications ASAP. Please consult a local endocrinologist for a prescription.

The TSH target in 1st Trimester is less than 2.5. This is known as Subclinical hypothyroidism. Food has no relation with this and it is an autoimmune disease.
