Hi, WIDAL is a test done for typhoid. But this test should be done preferably from 5th day of fever and before administration of antibiotics. Since you have given short history of 2 days fever, the titres are difficult to interpret as 'positive'. Hence it is suggested:
1. To repeat the test after 3 days
2. If, antibiotics have not been started, you can go immediately for blood culture.
3. You can also test your blood for malarial parasites.
If you are having typhoid, avoid oily and spicy foods for 2 weeks and be on a bland diet. Also do not physically exhaust yourself.
