Does The Test Need To Be Repeated Based On The Results?
iam aged 63.i underwent angioplasty afre a mild attack in 2006,at present my chlorestrol level,blood urea and creatine normal,iam a non diabitic,recently two days back i went for sugar test just formallt,my fbs was 95 and ppbs was 200,i fook full meal with ripe mango ffruit before the test,how is that fbs is normal and ppbs is high,do i have to under go the test again

yes you should undergo the test again
ideally pp should be done after a normal lunch.
mango is a very high glycemic index fruit , hence its advisable to repeat the test after 12 hours over night fasting and pp after taking a regular breakfast
follow up with reports
very high glycemic index products converts into glucose as soon as they are taken ,hence it may be possible tht insulin secretion can not cope up with demand .
