Does Taking Plaquenil And Yogurt Cause Any Side Effect In Stomach ?
Hello dr. I threw up last night after taking medication on a somewhat empty stomach. Plaquenil and only yogurt. When i looked in the toilet a round mass, ball if you will, came out and was floating in the toilet. I tried to pick it out and it burst with very little effort. From what i could tell there was a watery substance and then it fell to the base of the toilet. I am a nervous wreck and obsessing over it. What could it be?

I can understand your worry, any antimalarial should never be taken empty stomach, it should be taken with milk or milkshake and not with the yogurt, the ball like structure you have seen that could be a impacted form of worms, antimalarial have got the antihelmenthetic property (weakly) this must have paralyzed the Ascariasis, and expelled them out, hope this could be clear your doubts have nice day.
