Does Taking Injection For Back Pain Elevate The Pain?

This is my mother received a shot a year ago for back pain. It was an injection. Over a period of time there is a crater or invention that has grown deeper and larger over time also with pain increasing. What is this and could it have anything to do with her injection she received in November of last year for her back pain?

HI, thanks for using healthcare magic

If by crater, you are referring to an ulcer at the site of the injection then it is possibly related but if there is an ulcer or lesion elsewhere then it is not likely related.

She should have it assessed by her doctor as soon as possible to initiate treatment.

I hope this helps
