Does Taking Vyvanse Twice A Day Cause Any Side Effects?

My 12 yo son took his normal dose of vyvanse yesyerday before school. At night time he accidentally took it again instead of his catapres tablet? He was awake all night and has not slept a wink. Can he have any other adverse affects of taking his vyvanse twice in the one day? Morning and night?

I have gone through your query. Avoid the next day dose of vyvanse. Make him calm. Avoid coffee and tea. Cold showers will be helpful. If symptoms like restlessness and high temperature persist then consult ER as he may need a dose of betablocker or benzodiazepine.
