Does Taking Eliquis For Blood Clot Cause Severe Ear Pain?

My 36 year old daughter is having severe pain from ears to feet. She was treated for blood clot recently and is on eliquis. She has liver disease also. Trying to get her to go to ER but she wants to see if it could be result of eliquis. Pain is extreme and it hurts to even get up. Any ideas?

Hi,

Side effects of Eliquis are usually bleeding anywhere in the GI tract, urinary tract, the nose or the gums. It does not cause pain as a side effect. Therefore, if she has pain in the ear, one possibility is due to bleeding in the ear. I advise you to consult an ENT specialist and get examined.

Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
